When Abba Father first woke me up and began calling me to obey His Torah (instructions), He started with His Sabbath. Like everyone I suppose who is being presented with a truth that opposes their lifelong held belief or practice, I had difficulty with it, and He had to keep calling me back to His word every time I wandered back into Satan’s erroneous teachings on the subject. It took about three months for me to be completely convicted of His Sabbath and that He had not changed, nor allowed any man to change, His blessed and sanctified day. It was this video that He led me to that put the matter completely to rest in my mind and spirit, and I have been blessed by His Sabbath ever since.
As we near the return of Yeshua Jesus, it is imperative to YHVH that we be found not just having faith in his Son, Yeshua (which means salvation); but that we also be found keeping His commandments. The one commandment most professed Christians refuse to keep (which is open rebellion against God) is His Sabbath, the 4th commandment. Our Father even went so far as to allow a Covid 19 “pandemic” to make it easy for everyone to keep His Sabbath holy (set apart) and not pollute it, and what did people do? – they went right on polluting it. Revelation 14:12 “Here is the patience (endurance) of the saints (those who have received the Ruach HaKodesh, Spirit of Holiness, God’s Spirit): here are they that keep the Torah of Elohim, AND the faith of Yeshua Jesus.” It is not either/or, it is AND, both.
In Revelation 2, Yeshua seven times says “to him that overcomes”. What is He saying we should overcome? Sin of course; and what is sin? Sin is transgression of the Torah, plain and simple. We don’t get to make up our own definition of what sin is. The Father has clearly laid out His instructions, and to him who knows the right and does not do, he is guilty of sin. Everyone who calls themselves a “christian”, a follower of Yeshua, Jesus and has a Bible or access to one and rejects His Word, he has no excuse on the day of judgment. We are judged out of Torah, nothing more, nothing less.
If we say we love YHVH but find ourselves flatly refusing to keep His commandments because they are not convenient, or we prefer to listen to men rather than Him, the first thing we need to do is pray and ask Abba to forgive us for our rebellion against Him. Then recommit and surrender our lives to Him ask Him to fill us with His Ruach HaKodesh, Spirit of Holiness, so that we can understand His Torah, and have the desire and the power to obey Him. That is why He gives us His Spirit – that and to share the good news of salvation through belief in Yeshua. No one who truly loves Him and has His Spirit dwelling in them, can desire to disobey Him. 1 John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”
