Let’s Talk About God and Corona Virus

Gods Glory

As I expect many of you have also, I have been spending a lot of time weeping between the porch and the altar over what is going on in the the world today.  As we are told in Joel 2:17: “Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” If we are truly in Christ, following Him in faith and loving obedience, then we know 1 Peter 2:9 applies to us: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” When you have been called out of darkness, there is great burden of heart and responsibility to share truth with those who are still enslaved in it.

I have also been spending much time in contemplation of the scriptures concerning the end time signs Yeshua gave us, wondering with all saints how close we are to His Appearing, and praying for discernment as well as Wisdom to know what it is Abba Father would have us say and do in this time in order to be good and faithful servants. I know that He has made it abundantly clear to me over the past few years that if Christ is truly in me, His indwelling Ruach HaKodesh (Set Apart Spirit) will give me the desire and power to obey everything He commands in His Word, which I pray every day for the wisdom and discernment to do, and to recognize and repent of when I do not. We should desire nothing more than to be just like our Redeemer, the One who came as the Word made flesh, to show us the Way, the Truth and the Life – walking out the Torah (His Father’s instructions to His people, of which we count ourselves through Yeshua to be) perfectly, and showing us how to do the same.

I have been so in awe of YHWH’s amazing mercy and grace in this time. In Revelation 18:4 we are given the strong pre-mark of the beast warning to: “Come out of her my people, that ye not be partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”  People were not heeding the warning – they continued to rebel against His Word and ignore the warning of Revelation 14:7-12: “Fear Yahuah and give glory to Him for the hour of His judgment is come, and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water…” (quoting directly from the 4th commandment in Exodus 20:8-11). So in His merciful desire to get people out of the fallen churches (Roman Catholic and her apostate harlot daughters) who are on the verge of accepting the mark of beast by keeping the pagan Sunday of Rome over His blessed, sanctified and set apart Sabbath day of rest, that none might perish, He allows a global pandemic to drive His people out of her and gives them every opportunity to turn to Him in obedience and keep His Sabbath while in quarantine. How many are taking advantage of this great opportunity? Only time will tell; but no one will have any excuse.

When we look at all the natural disasters going on everywhere in the world, coupled with plagues of locusts (we almost forgot about those didn’t we), and the global corona virus pandemic, it should be abundantly clear to everyone that YHWH is trying to get our attention before it is too late, which it soon will be. People are losing their jobs, businesses, homes, property and loved ones, suffering famines, droughts, sickness and death, and still they refuse to turn to our Heavenly Father. I pray with all my might that people will wake up and look up before they are eternally lost. I don’t wish that for any living soul and nor, even more so, does our Elohim.
