The Pope doth protest too much, methinks

Pope Francis rejects donation from Argentinian president with 666 in sum

Centre-right leader Mauricio Macri gave 16,666,000 pesos to educational foundation backed by pope, reports say

The frosty relationship between two of the world’s most prominent Argentinians appears to have taken a turn for the worse after it emerged that Pope Francis rejected a charitable donation from the government of President Mauricio Macri – at least partly – because the sum included the figure 666.

Earlier this month, the centre-right president made a donation that totaled 16,666,000 pesos (slightly under $1.2m) from the Argentinian government to the Scholas Occurentes educational foundation, which is backed by the pope and is based on a similar organization founded by Francis when he was cardinal of Buenos Aires.

Two weeks ago, the pope presided over an event in Rome at which medals were awarded to Hollywood celebrities George Clooney, Salma Hayek and Richard Gere, who have agreed to be ambassadors for the charity. Shortly afterwards, Macri made the donation.

But according to the Vatican Insider – a publication specializing in papal affairs published by the Italian newspaper La Stampa – Francis wrote to the Argentinian branch of the foundation, asking them to return the money. In a postcript, he wrote: “I don’t like the 666…”

Those who study the Bible, especially the books of Daniel and Revelation, know full well what system the first beast (kingdom or power) of Revelation represents (and the lamb-like beast as well), and the beast system knows full well that it is the described beast, no matter how much it might try to dodge and weave and create false doctrines to lead astray the uninitiated who follow the teachings of men rather than study the Bible for themselves. Methinks Pope Francis protests the number 666 too much.

“Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666” (Revelation 13:18 NKJV). Vicarius Filii Dei, translated “Vicar of the Son of God” = 666.

Our Sunday Visitor, a Jesuit publication, published two admissions that Vicarius Filii Dei is in fact a title for the pope—on November 15, 1914, and April 18, 1915.

“The title of the Pope of Rome is Vicarius Filii Dei. This is inscribed on his mitre.” If you take the letters of his title, convert them to Roman numerals and add them together, the total will be 666.

While this is an interesting scripture that many people focus great attention on; it is merely one of many scriptures that identify the Roman Catholic Church/Vatican State and Pope who rules over it as the beast system. A beast in the Bible represents a kingdom or power. The important thing is who you will worship: the beast, and receive his mark and “drink of the wine of the wrath of God poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation…and be tormented with fire and brimstone”; or God, by keeping His commandments and having the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14.

There are two choices—one leads to eternal life—the other leads to destruction in the lake of fire. Choose life, which is what God wants for all of his children. He loves us and does not want to see any perish, which is why He sent His son to die in our places, if we will only repent and turn to Him for our salvation, then obey and follow Him. He made it so simple for us. Just don’t follow the beast and her false teachings, or you will be lost. Revelation 18:4 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” This is a call out of the apostate mother Church of confusion (Babylon) and her harlot daughters (apostate Protestantism which has joined with her). Revelation 17:5
